Defined in SQL with a YAML tool spec (types `CORTEX_AGENT_RUN`, `CORTEX_SEARCH_SERVICE_QUERY`, `CORTEX_ANALYST_MESSAGE`, `SYSTEM_EXECUTE_SQL`, `GENERIC`) and served at `https://<account_url>/api/v2/databases/{db}/schemas/{schema}/mcp-servers/{name}`. Auth via Snowflake OAuth (optional External OAuth); RBAC controls tool discovery and calls. Supports MCP revision 2025-11-25. Replaces the deprecated community server Snowflake-Labs/mcp. Billed as part of Snowflake usage.
