The hosted server at https://mcp.resend.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, launched 2026-07-07) uses OAuth sign-in with permissions you can revoke in Team settings, or a Resend API key as a Bearer token for CI and headless agents. The same open-source code runs locally with `npx -y resend-mcp` and RESEND_API_KEY (stdio by default, HTTP optional); npm `resend-mcp` 2.27.2, MIT. Logged actions carry a user-agent trace. The Resend plugin (Agent Plugins format) bundles the remote server with Resend's agent skills. Resend's Free plan allows 100 emails a day.
