QuantConnect Remote MCP
QuantConnect's hosted MCP server: agents create and edit LEAN projects, run backtests, optimizations and research notebooks, and deploy to paper trading.

Description
Connect any remote-MCP client to https://www.quantconnect.com/api/v2/mcp and authorize your QuantConnect organization (OAuth). More than 45 tools: projects and files (create_file and edit_file compile and return errors), compile, backtests (create_backtest runs asynchronously; results arrive as a message, so agents shouldn't poll), optimizations, Jupyter cells in the Research Environment, Object Store, notifications, and live trading (create_live_algorithm deploys to paper trading with the QuantConnect brokerage; stop_live_algorithm, liquidate_live_algorithm). Requires a paid A1-1, A4-8 or A16-32 agent node; the free A-MICRO node can't connect. Setup guides cover Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Cursor and Devin. The QuantConnect/mcp-server repo now holds only the remote-server README (Apache-2.0).
