Hosted, paid API for chat (OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions), web search, speech, images and video. Requests use an Orkas API key and credits. The API is separate from the open-source, local-first macOS/Windows desktop app, where a Commander coordinates specialist agents. Send the Orkas API key as Authorization: Bearer. Chat uses the OpenAI-compatible base URL https://orkas.ai/v1; search, speech and media endpoints have their own documented request fields. The API does not expose desktop Commander orchestration. MIT license applies to the desktop app only, not the hosted API.
