Formerly `blender-mcp`; the PyPI package is now `mcp-for-blender` (`uvx blender-mcp` still works). A one-line installer (or `uvx mcp-for-blender setup`) installs uv, detects MCP clients (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Devin Desktop/Windsurf, OpenCode, Antigravity), adds a `blender` entry (backing up configs) and installs/enables the Blender add-on, which starts a socket server inside Blender when it opens. Lets agents do prompt-driven modeling, scene creation and manipulation. Third-party: not made by the Blender Foundation. By default the `execute_blender_code` tool can run any Python in your live Blender; set `BLENDER_MCP_SAFE_MODE=1` to screen scripts and block risky code.
