Also includes offline geospatial calculations (distance, area, bearing, buffers) that need no API call, and `render_map_tool`, which draws routes, results or your own GeoJSON on an interactive Mapbox GL JS map inside the chat. Use the hosted endpoint at `https://mcp.mapbox.com/mcp` (Streamable HTTP; log in with OAuth, or send a Mapbox access token as a bearer token for scripts) or run the open-source Node.js server (`@mapbox/mcp-server`) locally. A Mapbox access token is required; Mapbox APIs have free tiers and usage-based pricing.
