CopilotKit is the layer between your agents and your users: the same agent (any framework that speaks AG-UI, the protocol CopilotKit created) can power a web app, a mobile app and a Slack or Microsoft Teams workspace. `useAgent` gives programmatic control over the AG-UI connection; `npx copilotkit@latest onboard start` lets a coding agent add it to a project, and `npx create-ag-ui-app` scaffolds a new one. CopilotKit Intelligence is an optional production add-on (persistent threads, user memories).
