Install `npm install -g @celo/buy`, create a wallet stored in the OS keychain (`buy setup`), fund it with stablecoins on Celo mainnet (gas is sponsored), and register the stdio MCP server with `buy mcp install --client all`. `buy curl` reads the HTTP 402 challenge, signs the payment locally and retries, refusing anything above `--max-amount`; `buy quote` shows the price without paying. Seven tools are registered by default; the tool that moves money directly is opt-in behind a budget or allowlist. Some services (e.g. larger Google Cloud VMs) require a Self zero-knowledge proof (age 18+, not OFAC-sanctioned). Launched 2026-10-13 by Celo Core Co.; beta. Services are priced per call (some, like SQD data, are free); the npm package is Apache-2.0.
