Description
Launched 2026-10-15, starting on Monad mainnet. With x402 the agent needs no account or key: a call returns HTTP 402 with the price, the agent signs a USDC payment and retries. The discovery manifest lists 150 priced resources, $0.001 per call by default with describeMethods free, on Monad (eip155:143), Base (eip155:8453) and Solana. Sessions opened with an Ankr API key are bound to that key for their lifetime. Responses follow TORPC, Ankr's draft RPC format for agents (evm-v1; CC0 per Ankr): tier 2 ABI-decodes calls and logs into named args with decimal strings, and every response reports _meta.tier and an o200k _meta.token_count. Decoded amounts are raw base units. Plain JSON-RPC is at x402.rpc.ankr.com/monad_mainnet.
